About
Hi and thanks for checking out this page to learn a bit more about me. My name is Cory and this is my personal blog. It will be relatively free form in topics, but likely will center around my experiences, thoughts and events living in Korea.
I came to Korea in 2009 as a native speaking English instructor for a public high school in Yeosu, Jeollanam province. After three years in Yeosu as a school instructor and later freelance corporate instructor, I changed locations to Yongin, Gyeonggi province in the winter of 2012. Additionally, I have spent some time living in Japan.
Language education has definitely been an interesting, if unexpected and unanticipated, field since finishing University, but my professional aspirations lie in the business field with workforce and organizational development. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in this field.
Thanks again for stopping by and feel free to contact me through this blog with any questions, comments or suggestions. Happy reading.
Hello Cory,
My name is Eran and i may be part of a pavilion project in the upcoming expo.
Would it be possible to send you some questions by email ?
if ok, please send me an email.
Many thanks.
Hello I am trying to find “CoryKorea.” Is this you? I saw your post on TripAdvisor about golfing in South Korea – but it was from a few years ago. Are you still offering help and advice for that? My husband is going there in a few days and dying to play golf. He’s been having a terrible time trying to communicate with the courses. Please write me back ASAP if you can. I’d appreciate it so much.
Sincerely, Jennifer
